The Hefner Company, Inc. was originally a family partnership. The original five members are deceased, and the assets of Judge Hefner, his wife, Eva, and their three children have been distributed to the three surviving grandchildren, two of whom have formed their own companies. The original Hefner Company has since been incorporated and has had W. John Hefner, Jr. as its president since 1987.
The Hefner Company, Inc. continues to acquire mineral rights in several oil & gas producing states as has been the case for more than 90 years.
